| Essentially Bare has a staff of experienced cosmetic clinicians, committed to providing expert care and knowledge to our patients, based on a strict code of ethics. Each clinician is medically trained in laser, is licensed, and has a minimum of two years experience. They regularly attend classes and seminars offered by the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Laser and Medicine, to bring patients the most up-to-date information in aesthetic cosmetic procedures. Each patient will see the same staff clinicians throughout their treatment.
Essentially Bare is overseen by Elliot Lach, M.D., F.A.C.S., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
After graduating from MIT, Dr. Lach went on to receive his MD from Yale Medical School in 1981. He served as a fellow in Surgery at the Harvard Medical School and completed a surgical fellowship, specializing in plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery in the combined Harvard Medical/Brigham and Women’s and Children’s Hospital program. He is also a board certified diplomat in plastic surgery and hand surgery.
Dr. Lach serves numerous boards and professional organizations and is a member, officer or fellow of the following organizations:
- American College of Surgeons
- American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery
- American Burn Association
Dr. Lach has broad academic experience that includes:
- Previously a full-time academic staff member at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.
- An associate professor with the joint appointments in surgery, pediatrics and anatomy.
- Co-founder and first medical director of the University of Mass Center for Advanced Clinical Technology.
Dr. Lach is a published author, and has contributed a section in the Encyclopedia Britannica on laser treatment of vascular lesions. He also holds U.S. and international patents for elimination of fat via laser intervention. He is the inventor of LaserToning, WonderLase and the WonderPeel processes.
Brian R Leclair, MSN, RN, CPNP, is certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Massachusetts with more than 15 years experience in the healthcare field. Mr. Leclair joined Essentially Bare in 2004. He holds an assistant professor of nursing position with appointments at both Regis and Simmons Colleges. Mr. Leclair received a Master in Science in Nursing from Simmons College, a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies from Regis College, and is currently pursing a PhD in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
